Motels

agentkilo This album is like a warm hug, a comforting voice in a sea of doubt. Every track is packed with raw emotion and talent. A criminally underappreciated indie masterpiece through and through. Favorite track: trying to reverse a palindrome.

runaway 05:06
Ima pack it all up Move to Texas or Tennessee Somewhere warmer Much warmer than here Ima get a little house Get a place with my lover We can be happy For the rest of our days Ooo I'm gonna runaway Throw it all in the back of a car And get out of here Ooo I'm gonna runaway Nothing much for out me here I'm not worried bout a job I fear mine is killing me I'll find a way To make it from here Guess I'll be a bum The working life ain't right for me I'll have more fun Livin' how I want Ooo I'm gonna runaway Throw it all in the back of a car And get out of here Ooo I'm gonna runaway Nothing much for me out here I'll be fine Don't worry about me Take your time We'll grow with the trees You and me Ooo I'm gonna runaway Throw it all in the back of a car And get out of here Ooo I'm gonna runaway Nothing much for me out here

evergreen 04:12
I thought that we would be evergreens We'd grow together Through the winter The autumn rain Ran down your face As the leaves began to fall I  guess our time was like the seasons Spring to summer to our fall The autumn rain Ran down my face As your car drove off If we cross that bridge again I hope you'd still call me your friend Cause it's tough to say I miss you When there's nothing left to give I took a chance I'll have to face it When the river runs dry I guess I'm fine with settling For a friend to stand by
3.
honey blue 02:13
My honey blue How have you been The day is almost over It's time to Remind yourself we'll be here tomorrow There's no need to worry Cause I'm here My honey blue I hope you're fine Tomorrow we will Break through the past lives Picture perfect dreams They just pass by We've got our whole life To run away
4.
Everything falls In time And that's okay That's okay Everyone has Their time And it's fine If not today One day we'll have Our time But not today Not today
5.
I've been digging this hole in the ground For quite some time I've been burying my head in the sand Thinking that it'll turn out alright I should have known Didn't think it'd end like this We were just a couple of kids Running for our lives Sometimes I miss your poison Guess it's not a sin My inner kid's Just tryna find some company Do you know where he went Someone I once thought I knew They say people never change And I'm starting to think that might just be true
6.
Listen close and don't be stoned I'll be here in the morning 'Cause I'm just floating Your cigarette still burns Your messed up world will thrill me Alison, I'm lost Alison, I said we're sinking There's nothing here but that's okay Outside your room your sister's spinning But she laughs and tells me she's just fine I guess she's out there somewhere And the sailors, they strike poses The TV covered walls, answer slowly With your talking and your pills Your messed up life still thrills me Alison, I'm lost Alison, I'll drink your wine And wear your clothes when we're both high Alison, I said we're sinking But she laughs and tells me it's just fine I guess she's out there somewhere

about

Motels is my first full release I've made. I wrote this EP about the idea of the passing of time and people moving in and out of your life as you grow up.

This EP really means a lot to me and I hope you all can find some meaning in it of your own as well.

Thank you to all my friends who supported me and the people who inspired this release, I couldn't have done this without you all.
